This was a quick, light and very sexy read, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The story was well written and the characters were very enjoyable. This is the first book that I have read from Genevieve Matthews and I will definitely be reading more from her!
This honestly reads like an eighteen year old girl penned it. The conversations are juvenile, the main character is not described at all except for the fact that she has long hair, and really, they have unprotected sex in every coupling, but she doesn't get pregnant, and even more dangerous, she NEVER asks him about his bill of health?! This wasn't fantasy, this was ridiculous. The scenes didn't flow either. What was the point of throwing Isaac into the mix when he wasn't even important enough to mention again? An oversexed teenager had to have written this drivel. This really deserves a zero star, but that's not possible.

I am conflicted between a 4 or a 5, so I will break it down before deciding.
The book has this edgy feel to it that comes from the hero and his dealings. It's like the novella touched upon it but I felt there was some background information missing from him. Several characters describe him as intense and a guy to avoid. He owns a mechanical shop where he employs guys that have wild parties and he does not trust with the heroine (one even attacks her sexually - mild scene). He even side steps questions heroine asks about him and his background with women. I felt there was more to him.
Also 4 years admiring each other from afar and nobody makes a move. Both think they are not good for each other.
Heroine pushing her male bff on her female bff, but next scene lamenting fact she never had feelings for him. Not cool. You want him for your friend. No lamenting.
However, I always love a badboy and goodgirl couple. Hero was intense in his attentions. Once he decided to pursue heroine she did not stand a chance. Love scenes were nicely written and steamy. We get an epilogue and HEA feel to the book.
Loved the edginess and realism the author gave the book. No cheating from when hero hooks up with heroine, I think. I will believe he was not there when the drunk lady came out of his office...
So after all that giving book a 4 rating. Just need more character development and background info of the hero. Something is going on in that shop but what exactly I was left wondering.
Loved this book💖💖💖. So amazingly cute I wanted to read it again. The characters re so cute and have hot chemistry.
Book was short but really good. Loved the characters. This is my first book from this author, and I will be going back for more.
